HIRE THE BIG BAND

Bristol Community Big Band is available to hire for corporate and charity events, Christmas parties, birthday parties and weddings.

We play a wide repertoire of 1940s, 50s, 60s and 70s swing and Latin classics, from Duke Ellington and Count Basie, to Dizzy Gillespie – ideal for bringing a bit of Golden Age glitz to your event.

We have previously played for such jazz singers as Phil King, Victoria Klewin, Lucy Moon, Denny Ilett and more.

Previous events include: Young Bristol Charity Fundraiser at Old Down Manor, Dig For Victory Festival, Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival, Crisis Centre Ministries Fundraiser, Soundwell Music Therapy Trust.

We are at minimum a 15 piece swing band but can grow to a 30 piece, plus guest soloists and singers.

Whatever your event, we can work with your budget to create an incredible evening your guests will love.

I just wanted to write a note to say thank you so much to all of the Bristol Community Big Band... We had several people say how they never got to have music like that in this part of town, and a man came out from the sheltered accommodation in the alley to say that the residents were listening through the windows and they were going to talk to Age UK about getting more music in their accommodation.
